THE SPACE

Situated on a welcoming farm near Wisemans Ferry, this beautifully restored early 1800s sandstone home and former inn was built by the first convicts. The two-storey villa features five spacious guest rooms sleeping up to 10 guests, modern bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with open fireplace leading onto a sweeping verandah. Beyond the verandah are Tuscan style gardens and a refreshing 12-metre stone swimming pool. Guests find the tranquil environment relaxing whether sitting on the verandah, swimming in the pool or river, strolling the 150-acre property or exploring the historic region.

Sitting just 5 km outside of the rustic village of Wisemans Ferry, Cross Park is minutes from the region’s historic landmarks. Spend an afternoon exploring the country’s most famous waterway known for the cable ferry connecting Wisemans Ferry with the historical Old Great North Road.

Activities

Activities and adventures abound at Cross Park. For those who love the water, head to the pool or river for a swim or boat along the river in supplied kayaks. A boat ramp allows for water sports such as skiing and for casting your fishing line. Animal lovers will find a plethora of possible creature-centric activities such as saddling up to tour the farm from horseback, or petting and feeding the farm animals in their natural habitats.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests of the villa have access to the residence, outdoor living spaces, certain farm areas, swimming pool, river, and private beach. Swim or relax by the pool, enjoy a leisurely walk along the river or explore the 150-acre grounds.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

Upon arrival, each guest is greeted by the onsite manager and introduced to the house and grounds. After, we invite guests to explore and discover the beauty and idyllic life of Cross Park Estate on their own.

GETTING AROUND

Guests are encouraged to bike or hike the property, nearby Divines Hill historical hike loop and local areas to discover sweeping panoramic views, popular vistas and flowing waterways.
